Iké Adeyemi

Vice President – Corporate Secretary & Associate General Counsel, The Clorox Company

Iké Adeyemi is Vice President, Corporate Secretary & Associate General Counsel at The Clorox Company. In her role, she has responsibility for legal support of M&A, securities law and corporate finance, as well as corporate governance and the company’s stockholder engagement program. Before Clorox, Iké held positions at BHP, overseeing legal matters for the company’s corporate M&A activities, and worked in the energy / project finance practices at White & Case and Skadden Arps. She was a 2019 fellow at the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. Iké received an A.B. from Harvard College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School (where she was a Paul & Daisy Soros Fellow).

Jeremiah Gordon

Jeremiah Gordon

General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, CapitalG LP

Jeremiah is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of CapitalG. In this role, he manages all legal, regulatory and compliance matters for Alphabet’s independent growth fund. Prior to CapitalG, Jeremiah served as senior counsel at Google where he supported Google’s corporate development functions. Jeremiah holds an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Adam Korn

Chief Information Officer, Sixth Street

Adam Korn is Partner and Chief Information Officer at Sixth Street, a leading global investment firm with over $60 billion in assets under management. Adam leads a team of engineers, representing one of the fastest growing groups in the private capital sector. Sixth Street’s digital engineering team develops tools within the firm’s greenfield, cloud native technology environment to enhance Sixth Street’s strategic investing capabilities and build new enterprise applications supporting the firm’s global business operations.

Adam joined Sixth Street in September 2020 after an 18-year career at Goldman Sachs, where he was previously the global co-head of Securities Division Engineering.

Throughout Adam’s career at Goldman, he was instrumental in building and championing several transformational initiatives during a time of tremendous change for the Securities Division and the industry. He contributed to the development of systematic trading across the business and led the effort to externalize the division’s capabilities to clients through a platform called Marquee. Adam was a member of the Partnership Committee and Firmwide Technology Risk Committee. He was named managing director in 2008 and partner in 2010.

Tim Lee

Managing Director, Co-Head Corporate Development at iCapital, Inc.

Tim is Managing Director and Co-Head of iCapital’s Corporate Development group where he focuses on strategic initiatives, including M&A, fundraising, legal process automation and business enablement.

Prior to joining the iCapital, Tim was an associate at Cleary Gottlieb, where his practice included M&A, private funds and capital markets, in Cleary’s New York and Seoul offices. During his time in Seoul, he co-founded Soomgo (숨고), Korea’s largest online services marketplace. Prior to law school, he owned and operated a restaurant and was a full-time realtor.

Youngro Lee

Head of Republic Asia and Acting CEO of Brassica

Youngro is Acting CEO of Brassica and Head of Republic Asia, a leading global FinTech company with a mission to democratize finance everywhere. Republic operates regulated online investment platforms globally with over 2 million users that completed over $2 billion in funding into various asset classes including startups, small businesses, crypto and real estate; an institutional asset management practice with over $1 billion AUM; and a crypto advisory practice that helps build top web3 projects globally. As COO, Youngro led Republic’s operational management from pre-Series A to post-Series B stage during which Republic became a unicorn through multiple institutional VC rounds, as well as Republic’s international expansion efforts into EU and Asia. Previously, Youngro was the Co-Founder/CEO of NextSeed Inc., a diversified financial services company that operated a Fintech platform enabling small businesses to raise capital from their community (acquired by Republic), and an ESG-focused investment adviser with over $200m AUM (acquired by Robertson Stephens).

Youngro also serves on the SEC Small Business Capital Formation Advisory Committee, which advises SEC and Congress on how to improve regulations to improve access to capital markets for small businesses and startups across US. Prior to entering FinTech industry, Youngro was a corporate attorney at Cleary Gottlieb and Kirkland & Ellis in the US, Europe and Asia focused on international private fund formation and investments. Youngro is passionate about creating sustainable communities that can deliver tangible results to the rest of the world.

Anna Makanju

Head of Public Policy, OpenAI, L.L.C.

Anna Makanju is the Head of Public Policy at OpenAI, a leading AI research and deployment company. Ms. Makanju leads the company’s work with policymakers around the world to advance OpenAI’s mission to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits humanity. Previously, she served as a Special Adviser for Europe and Eurasia to then-Vice President Biden and Director for Russia on the National Security Council. Prior to joining the Obama administration, Ms. Makanju practised international law at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and in international criminal tribunals in the Hague, as well as clerking on the Third Circuit. She received her B.A. from Western Washington University and holds a J.D. with Pro Bono Distinction from Stanford Law School.

Arek Sycz

Deputy General Counsel, Cascade Asset Management Company

Arek Sycz leads the Transactions Group at Cascade Asset Management Company. Before joining Cascade in 2014, Arek was a senior leader at Amazon, where he managed a team supporting business units on cutting edge projects and led the legal team’s development of creative e-commerce solutions. Before Amazon, Arek was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago, where he advised clients on M&A, private equity, venture capital, and structured finance transactions.

Rebecca Tabb

Senior Counsel, Sovereign Wealth Fund

Rebecca Tabb is the General Counsel – Funds of the asset management subsidiary of a prominent sovereign wealth fund. She is based in New York. Prior to her current role, Ms. Tabb was the chief compliance officer and legal counsel at Owl Rock Capital, and an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. Ms. Tabb also served as an academic fellow at the Stanford Law School, Arthur and Toni Rembe Rock Center for Corporate Governance. She holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she was the Nathan Abbott Scholar, which is awarded to the student with the highest cumulative grade point average at graduation, an M.Sc. from UCL and a B.A. from Stanford University.
